Miles was formerly a Director and Partner of a fund management business, with a particular focus on small to mid-cap UK equities.

 He started his career as a financial journalist, working for the Investors Chronicle as a staff writer before moving to the position of Smaller Companies Editor. He later moved on to be the Editor of Growth Company Investor.

 Miles has worked as an analyst and held the role of Head of Communications for a wealth manager, and has also spent several years in Investor Relations. He is a Board Adviser and Judge at the Lloyds Bank British Business Excellence Awards, and a Judge at the Small Cap Awards.
